Jun 26, 2018 Can I run Atmos 5.1.2 with the Atmos modules on top of the Surround L/R speakers instead of the Front L/R speakers? My KEF LS50's that I use as front L/C/R's are slightly rounded on top and the Atmos modules won't fit properly, but they would fit properly on top of the KEF Q100's that I'm looking at adding as L/R Surround speakers. When I do that I am also going to upgrade my receiver. My current one is older and does not work with 4K so have to router everything through the TV and ARC which destroys the sound options. I spend a good deal for DV/HDR10/DST:X/Atmos and plan to take full advantage of it. So question is, how big of a difference does that four vs. Two Atmos speakers make? I am decided on Audysee XT32. Two receivers that make the most sense are the Denon 3300 and 4300. 4300 is $200 more than the 3300 for the extra two channels of amplification. So, those that have had it is it worth it?
